Biomass briquettes are made from Agriculture waste and Forestry waste. It is converted into cylindrical shape briquettes. The major residues which are using in briquetting process are bagasse, rice husk, bamboo waste, jute waste, wood waste, saw dust, palm husk, tea waste, coffee husk, paddy straw, wheat straw, soya bean husk etc… The technology which is used to binding these raw materials, it is known as binder less technology. It has not required of any kind of binder or chemical.
Government also encouraging this project buy giving incentives to the briquette plant manufacturer. Plant holder and also briquette user. Briquettes are widely used for steam generation and heating purposes. Briquettes are used in each and every industries and it shows that briquettes are very useful.
The machine to make briquettes is called biomass briquetting plant or biomass briquette press. At present various types of briquetting machines are running successfully all over the world due to their Eco frinedly features.
